Monarch Glass Studio hosts private glassblowing events for team-building, family outings, or any other reason you could think that a bunch of people might like to get together around a glassblowing studio. Our most popular event is one that has you and your guests in the hot glass studio blowing glass with the Monarch team to make your very own glass pieces. We also host events where you and your guests can watch as the Monarch team creates work in the studio. If you and your guests are more than 20, we ask that you chose the viewing style event.
The viewing style event ranges in cost from how many people and how long the event is to be held. Fees start at $300 for a two hour event with 20 people.
Our most popular event is the hands-on style event, where guests can create their own glass pieces. Available item themes for the hands-on events are Candy Dish, Ornament, Pumpkin, Whiskey Glass, or Stemless Wine Glass. Each guest gets to choose up to two colors for the item that they create The average run time of 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours will accommodate anywhere between 10 to 20 items. If your group is less than ten, your guests may want to make more than one item to fill the run time. The minimum cost is $400 for the ten item event and runs an extra $40 for each item over 10. Items can be picked up by the party coordinator three days after the event and come wrapped in a gift bag with the maker's name on it.
For either style event, catering and alcohol is permitted, to be provided by the guest. Tables and chairs are provided by Monarch Glass Studio, but if more than two tables and 8 chairs are needed, please plan to provide your own.
To schedule an event, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Ask for the available event times to be provided to you and then choose an open time along with number of guests and item to be made. The event times available go four to five months in advance. Please expect to schedule with a minimum of a three-week lead time.
