Rondels
Dubbed the “Rondel King” by Jim Flanagan of Fremont Antique Glass in Seattle, Washington, Monarch owner, Tyler Kimball, has made over 100,000 rondels for stained glass artists and architectural glass studios around the globe.
Rondels can be made to any size between 2.5” and 27”. They can be made in nearly any coloration. They all are made with heavy tool marks to catch the light unless a different texture is requested.
We aim for perfection: It's not shipped to you if it doesn't meet our standards: 1/8” to 3/16” thickness, TORCHED PUNTY MARK, and clean color. Unless otherwise noted, we make rondels the way they were meant to be... easy on the assembler and beautiful to the viewer.
There are no prices on the website because costs range wildly depending on the type of order. A variable pricing structure based on quantity and type is in place rather than wholesale and retail pricing. So, asking what your order would cost is the best way to find out.
Textures beyond simple tool lines
Transparent Colors
Monarch Glass Studio has a wide array of colors available and is not limited to the below colors. Costs can be controlled if one of these color recipes is used for orders rather than needing custom colors manufactured. Colors may vary slightly as each piece is hand-blown, but we take great care to get as close to these samples as possible.
We can arrange for a sample to be seen in person for a nominal charge.
Each Image is split into back-lit and front-lit. The left side represents the color with light passing through and the right side is that of light cast onto it.
Costs are based on quantity and size. please email tyler@monarchglassstudio.com for a quote or send an inquiry.
