Installations

Some of the most rewarding work that Monarch Glass Studio does is that of installations. Whether indoor, outdoor, or suspended for public spaces, commercial buildings, or private residences, the work that goes into creating an unmistakable identity and statement piece is rivaled by no other process and finished look.
"Making Connections" was a multi-location and discipline installation for the Lawrence Transit Facility in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed in November of 2023, it was the largest installation to date by Monarch Glass Studio. It includes a stained glass storefront made from 120 blown cylinders turned into sheet glass and 36 unique blown rondels, a chandelier lit by LED bulbs and neon tubing within blown glass tubes. and three ten foot towers illuminated from within throughout.
